Deerbrook History
Deer Brook is located in Medford, NJ. Deer Brook is a great family neighborhood that was built by Bob Meyer built ca. 1974. It is one of the most desirable communities that Medford has to offer. The streets are wide and the homes are beautifully kept. The community has its own community swim pool/club. Access to the Deer Brook neighborhood is from Jackson Road onto Tavistock Drive and Stokes Road (Route 541) onto Schoolhouse Drive.
The Deer Brook Civic Association ("DBCA") is a not-for-profit corporation incorporated in the State of New Jersey in 1972 shortly after the Deer Brook residential development was constructed. The DBCA was deeded property at the corner of Jackson Road and Tavistock Drive in Medford Township to be used solely for recreational purposes. The DBCA is an organization concerned with the betterment of the Deer Brook community as well as the use of the common property. Residents of the Deer Brook community pay a nominal annual fee which entitles the family to participate in Civic Association activities.
