ASSISTANT POOL MANAGER
Job Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s license
CPR/AED certified
Lifeguard certified
Active lifeguard experience
Ability to independently complete pool chemical and safety checks.
Previous customer service experience preferred
Able to work weekends/holidays/evening hours
Over the age of 18+
Job Description:
Under the direction of the Pool Manager, the Assistant Pool Manager will assist with all day-to-day operations of the swim club and with the management of staff and membership. The assistant manager may also assist with the organization of special events and activities held at the club.
The assistant manager may also complete various routine clerical and administrative
tasks, all while ensuring timely and effective communication with the Pool Manager.
The assistant manager shall exercise good professional judgment in accordance with the bylaws and pool rules when dealing with all members and employees. The position shall serve as a role model for all guards in all aspects of dealing with the membership. All member or staff issues should be addressed by the assistant manager when on duty, and escalated to the pool manager if indicated.
LIFEGUARDS
Job Qualifications:
Each employed Lifeguard must hold the following Red Cross Certifications and provide a copy to be held in Deer Brook Swim Club’s records. Lifeguards must provide these certifications to the manager prior to their first day of scheduled working.

Job Description:
Lifeguard’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all patrons (Members and Guests) of Deer Brook are safe at all times. They will enforce the Policies and Rules that have been established for the club.
In addition to pool safety, lifeguards have additional responsibilities throughout the shift. Lifeguards may be required to complete the following tasks on a given day at work and will be required to do so as deemed fit by the manager on duty.
Job Responsibilities:
Those responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Cleaning of the bathrooms (Both Men’s and Women’s)
Walking the grounds to ensure all trash is thrown away, and all equipment is returned to the Front Gate Office.
Enforcing rules when broken by members or guests
Maintenance of Pools (Main and Baby)
Skimming of the pools
Cleaning out of skimmers for the pools
Scrub & VacuumTrash Pick Up and Removal to Dumpster
Cleaning of Community Areas
Providing first aid care to the members and guests of Deer Brook
Observing/Grading swim test to the members and/or guests of Deer Brook
BLUEFISH GRILLE
Job Qualifications:
Able to manage multiple orders and finish tasks to complete a patrons order
Service with a smile and friendly demeanor
Basic Knowledge of menu and pricing.
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation (deep fryer and flat-top) and food prep either through past experience or training is preferred. (But if you don’t have it, don’t worry – we want someone that loves cooking and wants to learn – we’ll train you to use the equipment safely and properly!)
Treats all employees with fairness and respect in a professional manner
Enforces safe food handling procedures and shares knowledge with peers
Performs opening and closing procedures to keep a sanitary kitchen
Monitors refrigeration and storage for food safety compliance
Maintains all kitchen equipment, reports any defects or issues immediately to the club manager
Maintains a safe, clean working environment
CASHIER skills
Strong math and computer skills preferred
Strong people skills (outgoing, personable, friendly, good with kids and adults)
Record and collect payment
Ensure kitchen orders are correct prior to delivery
Maintain neat, orderly and clean counter at all times
Assist cook during busy periods by prepping items to cook and finish assembly of cooked orders
Ensure all transactions, sales or voids are properly recorded and all funds are accounted for immediately following transaction
Maintain a respectful environment and tone at all times
Collect trays & properly wash used dishes.
Report all food handling concerns to the pool manager or a board member immediately
Must assist with opening and/or closing each day – this includes a 30 minute set-up before opening and 1 hour clean-up of the front end and kitchen area as needed at the end of day.
FRONT GATE CHECK-IN ATTENDANT
Job Qualifications:
Previous Skills with Google & Google Drive
Greet all members with a smile and positive attitude
Fully understand and enforce entry policies and procedures.
Courteously, promptly, and correctly answer all patron questions.
Keep the front desk and entry area clean and welcoming for all patrons.
Log all guests and collect associated guest fees
Check in the swim lesson, swim team, guests, and pool party participants.
Be aware of emergency action plans and be ready to perform assigned roles at all times during shifts.
Job Description:
Under the direction of the Pool Manager, the Assistant Pool Manager will assist with all day-to-day operations of the swim club and with the management of staff and membership. The Front Gate Pool Attendant serves as the first point of contact for the membership. The attendant greets / checks-in patrons, enacts facility entry procedures, enforces policies, accurately processes and tracks cash transactions, and answers patron questions courteously and promptly.
GENERAL EMPLOYMENT INFO.
If you are under 18 years of age, working papers are required. All employees must return completed I-9 and W-9 forms prior to the first day of work.
All employees will be required to wear a specific uniform based on their obtained position.
Lifeguards will wear provided swim attire
Managers/other employees will be required to wear Deer Brook Shirts
Cell Phone use will be strictly prohibited (not allowed) during your shift.
